The ability to love fellow mankind is what sets us apart from other living creatures.<\/p>\r\n
Helping others at times when they need help the most, forgetting our own self-interests and extending unconditional love to each and every living being on Earth are noble actions of mankind.<\/p>\r\n
MANKIND is powerful, but only so if we put empathy into action. Mankind can help to prevent and alleviate human sufferings wherever it may be found.<\/p>\r\n

For the first time, Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Sarawak Chapter, Kuching Branch and Stampin Branch are collaborating as one to jointly organise the \u201cRUN4MANKIND<\/strong>\u201d. The Chairman for the Organising Committee is Mr. Stanley Liew, who is also the Vice-Chairman 2 of Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Sarawak Chapter.<\/p>\r\nThe event, taking place on 6 November 2022 (Sunday), 6.00 am at MBKS Foyer, aims to appeal to the public to raise funds to support MRCS\u2019s humanitarian work in the community, such as (but not limited to) ambulance services, food aid services, trainings, first aid services, blood donation, etc. Besides, we require a huge fund for crisis and disaster preparedness and management. We need huge fund for disasters like fire and flood which occurred frequently in Sarawak. Hence, the generous support and sponsorship from the public is essential for the Malaysian Red Crescent Society in Sarawak to sustain its operations to support the community is important.<\/p>\r\n
The run will be open for registration, starting today, 16 August 2022 and registration closes on 30 September 2022 via website bit.ly\/run4mankind2022, with early bird registration ending on 31 August 2022. The run is divided into 3 categories with 2 separate running distance, 3km and 5km, and a V.I.P sections for Ministers, YBs, Heads of Departments, CEOs and Corporate Heads respectively. The participation fees are as below:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

For Corporate registration, they are entitled to send 5 participants for every RM5,000 sponsorship.<\/p>\r\n Sponsors will be able to obtain tax exemption receipts from MRCS in return.<\/p>\r\n We are targeting to have 1,500 participants or more from all the categories to join in the RUN4MANKIND <\/strong>and we hope to be able to raise a net amount of RM300,000 to support all our Red Crescent activities.<\/p>\r\nOn behalf of Malaysian Red Crescent Society Sarawak Chapter, Kuching Branch and Stampin Branch, I would like thank all the generous donors, sponsors and supporters for their generosities.
