New Ambulance Launch & World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2025
In conjunction with World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2025, the Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak Chapter proudly unveiled a new ambulance stationed at the MERS 999 Hotspot in Samariang. This addition enhances our capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, reinforcing our commitment to serve the community with care and dedication.
The event was graced by YB Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak. Also in attendance were branch leaders, volunteers, and partners from across the state, whose continued support strengthens our humanitarian mission.
Guests witnessed impactful presentations and a video showcase highlighting the vital work of MERS 999 services, reminding everyone of the ongoing efforts to save lives and promote community resilience.
A special highlight of the day was the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to two exceptional healthcare professionals:

- Mr Frankton ak Bagat, Assistant Medical Officer
Their unwavering dedication and service exemplify the spirit of compassion that drives the Red Crescent movement.
